Frequently Asked Questions
📍 Where are you located?
I'm located in Ashland, the unincorporated area of San Leandro (ZIP code 94578). The exact address is shared after booking is confirmed.
🐶 What vaccinations are required for boarding?
For the safety of all dogs in my care, the following vaccinations are required:
Rabies
Bordetella
DHPP/DHLPP/DA2PP/DAPP
Canine Influenza (CIV)
Leptospirosis (if not already combined with DHPP)
Please be sure all vaccines are current and uploaded before your dog’s stay.
🎒What should I bring for my dog’s first stay?
Please bring:
Enough food for the full stay (a little extra is fine)
Portion per feeding in individual baggies if food is prepared or mixed and needs to be refrigerated.
Treats (especially if your dog has allergies)
Leash and collar or harness
Please do not bring bowls. I provide sanitized stainless-steel bowls for all guests.
You’re welcome to bring one comfort item (like a blanket or favorite toy), but I have plenty of enrichment and bedding here.
🛏️ Where will my dog sleep and eat?
Every dog has a private space to rest and eat in peace. Depending on your dog’s size and needs, they’ll stay in:
Either a 5x5 ft or 4x4 ft gazebo-style kennel
Or an Impact crate for dogs who prefer a den-like space or need more security
🐶 What amenities and fun things do you offer?
I offer a safe, fun, and stimulating environment including:
9 watering stations at different heights
Tether Tuggie
Rope balls, tennis balls, and fetch balls
Kongs and chew bones (including options for strong/aggressive chewers)
Lick mats
Ball pit
Air-conditioned for comfort
🐾 How are dogs separated or grouped?
I have multiple dog run areas and can separate dogs based on age, temperament, or play style. Social dogs may enjoy group time, while others may prefer quieter one-on-one enrichment.
⏰ What are your drop-off and pickup policies?
All drop-offs and pick-ups are by confirmed appointment only. Please arrive at your scheduled time. I understand things happen, so if you're running early or late, just let me know in advance.
📱Is Gingr the only way to book? Is there an app?
Yes, all reservations must be made through Gingr. There is an app called Gingr for Pet Parents available for iOS and Android.
